The Board of Education may offer a program of driver education. If the Board chooses to offer a program of driver education, in accordance with law, the District will charge a fee that is not more than the actual per student cost of providing the program less any subsidy received from the State for driver education. The Board shall set this fee annually. Students will not be required to enroll in the Board’s program of driver education in lieu of taking a training course from a private driver training school.
