The purpose of the school-community relations program is to establish and maintain in the public mind respect for the school system and confidence that it is providing a quality education for the students of the community in terms of intellectual, emotional, moral, social, and physical development.

Toward this end, the Board of Education shall provide parents or guardians and other district residents opportunities for orientation and information.
