The Superintendent shall administer disciplinary action for situations most often encountered which provide for progressive penalties including, where appropriate, verbal warning, written warning, transfer or termination.

In the event it is necessary to take disciplinary action against an employee, a notice in ordinary and concise language shall be sent to the employee specifying:

 A.the specific acts and omissions upon which the disciplinary action is based;

 B.a statement of the cause for the action taken;

 C.a quotation of the rule or regulation which it is claimed the employee violated;

 D.a date, place and time the employee may be heard if s/he so wishes;

 E.the penalty that may be suffered as a result of the employee's acts or omissions;

 F.rules for the administrative hearing.

When immediate dismissal action is indicated, the Superintendent shall recommend to the President of the Board that action be initiated to dismiss the employee. If, after being suspended, an employee is fully reinstated, said employee may receive full pay for the period of suspension, depending upon the decision of the Board.
