Administrative Guidelines
 

9700C - DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALS VIA STUDENTS

The following guidelines apply to the distribution of materials via students:

 A.All material distributed by students must have the principal's approval. In the event that a principal does not give approval, s/he will state reasons for same.

 B.Office and classroom disruptions should be kept to an absolute minimum.

 C.The sender has the responsibility to insure that policies and regulations are adhered to.

 D.One (1) copy of the material is to be kept on file at the individual school for one (1) year and one (1) copy is to be sent to the Superintendent's office for review only.

 E.Complete accuracy of the distributed material is essential.

 F.Opinions should be labeled as such.

 G.Flyers must be signed and the sender fully identified.

 H.Materials emanating from a source other than the home school, should be approved by the Superintendent before distribution.

 I.If there is any question as to whether or not the material is in keeping with Board policy or these guidelines, the sending party is to consider employing the mail for distribution.

 J.Posters, circulars, and other materials may be posted on bulletin boards, etc. They are not covered by Board Policy or Administrative Regulations. Decisions in regard to these materials are to be made by the building principal.
