7510 - USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES

All requests for use of buildings and facilities should be directed to the office of the principal where an application form will be provided. This application form must be completed and returned to the principal's office. Following approval by the principal, the person making the application will be informed in writing of the approval of his/her request.

The organization or person requesting the use of the building and/or facilities assumes responsibility for loss or damage to the building and the facilities used during the period of the rental. When cafeteria facilities are used, at least one (1) Board-employed cafeteria worker must be present in a supervisor capacity and paid by the organization.

The "user" agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Board of Education, their agents, and employees for all liability, claims, demands, or costs, for, or arising out of the use of the school facilities by the "user" whether it is caused by the negligence of the user or the Board or either party's agents or employees, or otherwise.

There will be no drinking of alcoholic beverages inside of the school building at any activity.

For a dance or dance type activity, two (2) teachers or principal, four (4) adults, and two (2) police officers must be at any dance sponsored by the school or a school related organization (PTO, PTA, BOOSTERS, ETC.) for the purpose of chaperoning the students.
