4140 - RESIGNATION

As a professional, the classified employee shall recognize the obligation to faithfully fulfill the terms of his/her contract until it is dissolved by mutual consent or by due process of law.

The nontenured classified employee shall have the right to resign for good reasons by submitting a letter of resignation thirty (30) days prior to the date for which the resignation becomes effective.

The Superintendent or his/her designee shall, whenever possible, conduct a post-resignation interview with each candidate to determine the classified employee's reasons leading up to the point of resignation.
