3220.01 - ADMINISTRATIVE EVALUATION PROCEDURE FOR ADMINISTRATION PERSONNEL
The R.C. 3319.02 mandates that the Board of Education adopt procedures for the evaluation of all District administrators. In compliance with this mandate, the Board hereby adopts the following procedures for administrative evaluations:
| A. | An annual written evaluation will be provided each administrative professional staff member by the Superintendent or his/her designee. | ||
| B. | The written evaluation shall measure each administrator's effectiveness in performing the duties included in the job description, and these evaluations shall be considered by the Board when deciding whether to renew or to non-renew a contract. | ||
| C. | The Superintendent will, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the final Board meeting in March, ensure that all evaluation procedures have been completed for administrators whose contracts expire at the end of the current year. | ||
| D. | Before action on the administrator's contract, the Treasurer will send notice to the professional staff member of the pending action and will advise the professional staff member of his/her right to request a meeting in executive session to discuss the Board's reason for renewal or nonrenewal of the contract. | ||
| E. | The Board will act on all administrator's contracts no later than the final Board meeting in March. |
