Recommendation for adoption of basic textbooks will be made by a county-wide textbook committee.

A representative committee, under guidance of the county supervisor, will comprise of representative teachers from each school district that are presently teaching the course or subject for which the selection is intended.

The Board of Education will adopt the Meigs County adopted textbook series.
