9110 - COMMUNICATION WITH THE PUBLIC
It is the desire of the Board of Education that two-way channels of communication be kept open at all times between the school system and the people of the school District. The Board will continuously attempt to create and maintain schools that reflect the public's wishes, and will do its best to keep the people informed of the affairs of the school system.
The Superintendent and staff are encouraged to use all available school sponsored media, such as publications, radio and TV, to keep the goals, program, achievements, and needs of the schools before the public.
The Superintendent may delegate authority to Central Administrative Staff and to the school principals as seems fit, but the ultimate responsibility for their performance is the Superintendent's.
The administration is responsible for all informational services to and from the public, except for such matters as the Board may from time-to-time wish to deal with publicly itself.
