The Board of Education shall approve materials used for the delivery of curriculum. Materials, for purposes of this policy, shall mean a variety of resources including texts, technologies, literature collections, and other support materials.

The Superintendent shall develop administrative guidelines for the selection of materials that includes effective consultation with professional staff members at all appropriate levels.
