2105 - MISSION OF THE DISTRICT

The Mount Healthy City Schools are committed to the personal growth and well being of all the members of our school community. We will respect the dignity, rights, talents, and contributions of all while ensuring that each individual acquires the skills needed to be a responsible citizen, capable of meeting the changing needs of society.

We will:

	A.	be committed to the highest educational values and academic standards;
	B.	expect all individuals to demonstrate personal responsibility through active engagement in the daily operations of our School District;
	C.	empower all individuals by keeping them informed about matters that affect their day-to-day lives and by encouraging them to voice opinions and submit ideas to better the system;
	D.	encourage action on those ideas by providing a variety of means of recognizing individual and group contributions and accomplishments;
	E.	actively engage the entire Mount Healthy community in our schools, both as an audience for the activities of our youth and as partners for assisting in the education of those youth.
