1100.01 - ADMINISTRATIVE MEETINGS

Composition and Meetings

The Administrative Advisory Council will be composed of all building principals and Central Office administrators. The Council shall meet regularly as determined by the Superintendent.

Agenda

Agendas shall be prepared by the Superintendent. Opportunity for members to suggest agenda items shall be provided. Such items should be presented to the Superintendent at least three (3) days before the meeting and should include background information if available.

Purpose

The purpose of the Administrative Advisory Council is to provide the Superintendent with a coordinated channel of communication with members of the administrative staff and through them, with employees of the District and to provide members of the administrative staff opportunity for input on Board and administrative decisions affecting the District.

Areas of Discussion and Concern

Discussion areas may include:

 A.Recommendation of policy to the board and review of policies under consideration.

 B.Recommendations of District-wide goals to the Board.

 C.Development and discussion of agenda items for Board meetings.

 D.Development of administrative regulations.

 E.Discussion of specific District problems.

 F.Input on issues about which the Superintendent must make decisions or recommendations to the Board.

 G.Development of preliminary budget.

 H.Discussion of specific building problems which might affect the entire system.

 I.Review of master contracts and opportunity to express concerns or suggest counter proposals.

 J.Discussion of educational proposals that may be considered by the District.
