| Administrative Guidelines |
2105 - THE SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROCESS
The Corporation has established a school improvement process which will function under the leadership of the Corporation School Improvement Team. The Team will consist of:
| A. | the principal and one (1) teacher from each elementary school; | ||
| B. | the principal and two (2) staff members from the middle school; | ||
| C. | the principal and two (2) staff members from the high school. |
In addition there will be a School Improvement Team at each building under the leadership of the principal.
The purpose of the School Improvement Teams is to ensure that the Corporation's Mission is being achieved by focussing on the following objectives and strategies:
| A. | Ninety (90) percent or more of the students will obtain a defined minimal level of mastery as identified on the ISTEP test. | ||
| B. | To achieve within twelve (12) months a direct, measurable correlation between expenditure and the Corporation mission. | ||
| C. | To increase the number of graduating seniors who participate in post-high school training by three (3) percent annually. | ||
| D. | To increase productive parental/community involvement in the educational process by twenty-five (25) percent within two (2) years. |
